The end of ski season marks the beginning of spring and summer activities for resorts around the country. That means resort employees are scurrying to set up alpine slides, ziplines, hiking and biking trails and picnic areas. Essentially, they’re doing a huge spring cleaning.
Resorts around the country set aside a time at the end of every season to make sure they clean up all of the belongings lost under the lift (and elsewhere) during the ski season. Some of the gems they find? Ski poles, single skis and, when they’re lucky, a $20,000 Rolex watch.
