Meet Dave Maclay-Schulte–one of the newest members to the ColdAvenger crew. He’s actually one of three new faces that are helping me out around here. So, here is an introduction to “Red Dave”–a first of a three-part series introducing my rad team.
On Dave’s first week, I sat him down and asked him a few questions…and received some interesting answers. Should be a great winter with the likes of Red Dave around.
David Maclay-Schulte:
What is your job title here at Talus?
I’m a pretty big deal…I answer emails, phone calls, help with sales and marketing and assist in sourcing materials. I think the business card labels me as “product manager.”
What are you looking forward to the most this winter?
I really, really love hunting season, but ski season takes a close second–both of which have awesome ColdAvenger applications.
How do yo get to work each morning?
I drive fast and take chances. “Danger” isn’t my middle name, but it should be.
Why do “they” call you Red Dave?
My hair is red, due some damn good genetics…and luck.
What are your top five favorite made-up words?
1. awesomeness
2. dangerrific
3. yer, as in “yer…mom.”
4. radicality
5. weeeeeoooo!
How do you deal with stress?
I deal with stress by crushing the spirit of the weak. If no weak are available, I find some way to get my mind off of the stressor…like perform some menial task, work out, go for a walk, drink…whatever works for me at the time.
Should I be worried?
Nah–Red Dave is on board and we couldn’t be more excited! Welcome!
