As most of you know, when it’s not winter we spend our time fantasizing about all the escapades we could be getting ourselves into if it were below freezing outside.
One of the things we have to consider when we’re out braving the elements is what exactly we’re going to pack and how we’re going to pack it.
That being said, it obviously couldn’t make us happier when companies come out with products to lighten our load.
Pat’s Backcountry Beverages recently came out with a product that could potentially take degrees off of the freezing temperatures. Sleeping bag? Nope. Parka? Guess again. Concentrated instant beer? You got it.
At the end of a hard day trekking to the South Pole, one of the only things that could adequately take the edge off is an ice cold beer (which, in our case, is usually quite literal). Pat’s Backcountry Beverages removes the potential for frozen beer as well as saves us from the hundreds (ok, well maybe not hundreds) of ounces of beer we are forced to carry on our treks through the wild outdoors.
We won’t do it justice by just mentioning it so check out the full article from Outside Magazine here. All we have to say is, Cheers to that.
