The end of the world calls for a balaclava…and a beer.

We all saw it coming and we have to say that we’re wildly relieved that finally someone else has too. If the world is indeed coming to an end via an Ice Age we’re sure as heck not going to take that sitting down. (Ok, well we might sit and huddle for warmth but figuratively speaking we’ve hit the ground running).

The ColdAvenger Expedition Balaclava is built specifically to humidify the air that you’re breathing in and keep the moisture from exhalation away from your face to prevent freezing.

This keeps your lungs and your esophagus happy while still making sure your beard (or your she-beard) doesn’t turn into a forest of hairsicles when you’re out tackling Mother Nature.

We originally built the ColdAvenger to keep your mug warm during outdoor expeditions but if it helps us become the last ones standing at the end of the world then we’ll take it.

Mission Small Business!

To all of our incredible fans – you’re all amazing! We met our goal of getting 250 votes to make it to the next round of the Mission Small Business contest!

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed their time and vote to the #MissionSmallBusiness competition. The contest is over and we are now just waiting to hear the verdict on who receives the Mission Small Business grant. Only 12 businesses will win but we’re in the race fair and square and we’re crossing our fingers we’re one of the chosen ones. Keep pulling for us!

ColdAvenger contest – why you Stay Out Longer

Since the dawn of time (well, since the dawn of the ColdAvenger) we have been doing, seeing and conquering the unimaginable. Climbing the highest peaks, pushing the farthest distances and biking the toughest terrain…in the extreme cold. While everyone else finishes their marathons, we were climbing the tallest mountains in the world. While everyone was climbing Everest, we had hit the summit and were already making our descent to make our mark as the first all-female team to cross Arctic Canada.

ColdAvenger was the title sponsor of ColdAvenger’s Extreme North Dakota Iceman Triathalon which is the premier winter endurance adventure race in the Midwest. Athletes in the competition compete in Nordic skiing, mountain biking, running and sledding in any and all conditions mother nature has to offer.

Athlete Ranulph Fiennes is credited by the Guiness Book of World Records as one of the greatest explorers of all time. Being the first human to ever circumnavigate the world, Fiennes led the first hovercraft expedition up the Nile river and led a team to discover the lost city of Ubar.
